Brad Abrams
Blown Glass
Brad Abrams has been an artist since childhood. Brad has specialized in glass sculpture since 1985 as well as steel and mixed media. He has worked in the metroplex since 1990 at his Dallas Studio. His work is shown in many galleries and shops across America and collected widely because of his unique, playful and colorful forms.
Mr. Abrams graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California in 1988 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Glass and Ceramics. He has also studied in Cleveland, Ohio; Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania; and numerous workshops at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington.


B & A Glassworks
Offering workshops which include a one night demonstration and introduction to glass blowing with glass sculptor Brad Abrams, followed by 4 intensive days learning the basics of glass arts through hands-on experience. Classes are small, accomodating a maximum of 4 students, so close supervision and instruction are a benefit as well as availability of the glass shop facility.
The 5 night class is $350 per
person.
The Introduction/Demonstration night only is $25 per
person

After completion of the workshop, students are encouraged to practice blowing glass and may rent Co-op/Studio time for $35 per hour. The studio will be available on weekends or during the non-class weeks by schedulting with B&A Glass. Inquire for further details.
